Water Pump hose

Does anybody know if the hose that connects the intake of the water pump (points out from the front of the water pump) to the "tee" below the radiators is a Yamaha part? or just an MZ part?

what bike model and year

and some of these hoses can be found at auto parts stores
if you have an experanced parts guy look at what your replacing
he may be able to do it from a car heater hose he has in stock

Sorry, duh, model would have helped. 2003 Baghira. A generic hos is not going to work because it has two (maybe three) right angle bends molded into it. It fits snuggly in between the motor and exhaust pipe too, so it really needs to be the stock replacement. Just wondering if I can order it from the friendly Yammie dealer or have to call BSA Regal.

For my MZ, I replaced mine using CPE hose. If the bends aren't too crazy, then this is a viable alternative. Note that the 125SM has two right-angle bends...

Hey that looks a lot better and stronger. The hose looks real vunerable where it is and I can see it getting damaged if the bike is used off road.

Thank you! The stock hose is braided, but the new one is a bit thicker and much nicer. The only drawback is that the connector from the rad is 1/8" larger in diameter than the connector into the engine. It just took a little more "oomph" to get the hose on the rad (not so much that it killed the radiator, though!).

kman.45, also consider checking the KTM parts catalogue. My rads are KTM-made, and it wouldn't surprise me that the Baggy uses rads from them as well. Try sites like KTMcyclehutt.com; I did see some exploded parts diagrams online of KTMs.

thanks for the tip. I will do that. The hose on my Baghira is nothing like the one you show. As I stated it has to run through the exhaust pipes and fits fairly tight, so seems it has to have those molded corners.

i went to the local auto parts store and got all hoses replaced, had to get a T connector for the hoses on the left side, bought it there as well, had to shorten it on one side a little bit, should not be a problem replacing the hoses, michael
