super chargers and blowers on big singles need a long intake
so that when the piston starts down there is a smooth flow of air and
fuel... not a the sucking of air so fast the blower can not keep up
and more fuel and not enough air gets to the motor
the british engine designers from the 1930' can explain it
they found it made more power but was a pain to get to work right
and a good 650 single or twin will make more power than
most of us want or need...... mostly NEED
the only time i have found MORE or BIGGER being better
was when it applied to CASH in my pocket book
so i can afford a toy like this when the saxon tour is old and worn
