ES250/2 Trophy

Postby manxie » Wed Mar 23, 2016 4:33 pm

At some point, probably in the distant future, I will be restoring my Trophy which is a full restoration job. The engine is locked, wont turn on the kick, so it`s either seized or something else has gone pear shaped inside it`s scruffy exterior. I`m not a mechanic and never rebuilt a motor  , so my plan is to do the cosmetics myself and get someone to rebuild the motor / gearbox. It would mean polishing the casings etc when it`s apart. Is there any body about that would do the rebuild and polishing? Thanks

As discussed in the messages, I'm happy to build the motor for you, keep in touch and enjoy the TT :D

Thanks Kev. Yeah, not long `til the TT, should get a lap or two in on the Skorp but must admit I prefer the MGP, slightly slower pace and some beautiful classic machinery about with the smells to go with it 8) Cheers, Steve.
