Removing the clutch cover on my MZ ETZ 250/1 1986

Hello list members.
This is my first post to the group and really need your help. I have been trying to remove the cover of the clutch and kickstart on my MZ ETZ 250/1 engine which I received without the kickstart on it.
I noticed that the kickstart shaft is not at its correct position (rotation place) and the spring has moved from its stop position in the cover. There is a binding on both the kickstart side and the clutch side and I have been watching all videos of the removal on a newer model with the oil pump in the cover, and all fastener are off. I am doing exactly the same as on the video, but have been using a soft mallet to try to loosen something, and am about to damage the cover if I do any more. There seems to be something loose and binding under the cover but I can not figure it out what it could be.
Can anyone here help before I start using the saw?

Just wanted to inform you that we managed to remove the cover with a lot of chisel work and banging. The bearing on the clutch was binding, and the spring on the kickstart shaft broken and was interfering with the gear drive.
