Mz etz 251 rearsets?

What should I use for my cafe racer project mainly I'm looking for some cheaper universals but I can't sem to find any to a good price

I don't think there are any off the shelf you can use. Depending on how aggressive you want your riding position you could use the pillion pegs (I've done this on Jawa cafe racers before). I think the issue you will have on the ETZ is that the right hand footpeg is also the stopper for the rear brake which actually pivots a long way back. I'm not sure how you'd attach the linkage.

One thing I thought of a while back was to use the pillion footpegs, make a new brake lever that goes backwards and turn the brake and gear linkages 180 degrees round on the other side, that way you'd also get racing style "up for 1st, down for 2nd..." and wouldn't change the brake operation. If you try this please take some photos as i'd really like to see how it turned out.
