Sorry if this has come up before, but I have an ETZ 250 that I have been running fine on premix, for years. I just left the oil pump in-situ and blanked the external crankase oil ways off with metal putty.
The question is that I have since heard that it is better to take the oil pump off. Now I want to convert a 251 engine to pre-mix but don't know wether I should remove the pump or not.
