MZ owner (again)

Hello all,

After a hiatus of what must be 20 years I own an ETZ again, my last being a Wilf Green 300 which I lavished a lot of money on with Burwins goodies and every extra I could lay my hands on.

The ETZ250 I've just bought is a complete heap, how it passed an MOT is anyone's guess! The previous owner has painted everything with what appears to be gloss black paint but he's not even bothered to rub anything down. He's even painted over the nuts and bolts!

I've also owned a Skorpion Sport which I love to bits.

The strip down is going to be a nightmare and will take time as other bikes ('94 FJ1200, '99Duke ST2 and '09FJR1300) need to be ridden and the Duke has thrown a wobbly of the solenoid kind!

I will get there in the end though and it will look and go like a good un too.

Welcome back, Pete! I am also a recent (earlier this month) returnee to the MZ fold, and am having great fun with my Skorpion. Hope your project provides lots of satisfaction seeing the old bike come back to a presentable state!
