Mastiff choke mechanism

Does anyone know what secures the`static`element of the choke control to the handlebars?I`ve`split`the LH switch block but still the choke part of it remains attached.
Also,has anyone had`issues`with cable or wiring loom length when fitting risers or higher bars?

dont think it does split , slides off the handlebars..
look at my gallery, i use triumph triple s risers on mine , no issues with cables or wiring to report,handlebars are better
when there a little higher.renthall twin wall fat bars also fit very nice

however , i would love to do away with the cable and just have a plunger direct on the carb,
anyone know of one that fits

Hi Den.

I was hoping someone would tell me there is a hidden grub screw that secures the non-rotating bit to the bars.With the grip rolled back and the switch block loose this bit is still very firmly attached.
If ever my cable breaks i`ll go for one of those instead .I think the topic has come up before.
Nice replacement brake lever tip by the way

i agree , the peg made all the difference,,and i have not ground it any on the bends yet,,i have raised the height of my baggy anyways so should be ok,,re the choke , have you looked on the parts diagram on grahamsmotorbikes.com website. it will give you and idea

I`m sure there must be a grub screw tucked away somewhere.I`ll put my specs on when i next look!

I fancy leaving the current choke mechanism in the carb and adding my own control mechanism to operate it,perhaps a friction lever on the carb.The price and availability of a complete replacement doesn`t look good.
