Also those motopeds would be illegal in the UK. i doubt because they use mountain bike wheels that they wouldn't meet the specs for using with a engine. also to be honest id rather use a proper honda motor.. I've scrapped many a pit bike motor with a busted gearbox.. nothing beat the original and best 3 speed crunchie honda box… and yes i do own a fully restored original honda C90 Cub… i also happen to have a spare honda motor

lol nope… it needs built i stripped it and its sat in boxes… mind you a honda 90 motor can be rebuilt in a couple of hours… done many of them in my time… my idea for it was to fit a 110cc top end. and put it into a pit bike frame reworked to make a BSA Bantam'esqe special.. with 17" wheels kinda like those motopeds.. but old school.. no plastic all metal, looking like a lightweight from the 30 to the 50s

great idea.you can get a 17" pit bike front wheel cheap nowadays.you would have to make a back one.I got my pit bike engine off my mate who used to race them in the fab championship.it started smoking and he was told to get a new piston and rings he did.but when I opened it up there was nothing wrong.I said it could be valve seals.by this time he had bought another bike.he has now moved on to mini moto sidecars and sold the pit bike and I got his old engine.new valve seals and the smoke is gone.
