SZR 660 Rear shock

Hi Everyone,

Thought this might be the most appropriate part of the forum to post this question on, as it's not engine related, so probably not welcome in the 660 section

I'm looking to replace the rear shock on an SZR 660, and was curious to know if anyone knew of any from any modernish sportsbikes that would fit? (I fitted a kawasaki ZX-6r shock to my SV650, and it was a massive improvement)?

Bill jurgenson(guru on here...doesn't post anylonger)has recommended (if memory serves)an Fz 1000 shock on the Skorpion ,SZR should be similar
