what other forks fit a ts150

Postby flatyre » Wed Mar 05, 2014 2:01 pm

Hi all, the forks on my TS150 are a bit pitted so was wondering if the tubes can be replaced or would it be cheaper to buy a set of second hand forks off a more common bike? cheers

ost2rad probably have replacement stanchions for less than the cost of re-chroming.....

Or you could try filling the pits with Araldite, and smoothing down if they aren't too bad. The stanchions will be hidden by the gaiters anyway.

Check the fork tube diameter.

If they're 35mm, the tubes off of any ETZ or a TS250/1 will fit. Some early 125/150s have 32mm forks, but almost all of the ones you'll find are 35mm.

EBay should be your friend, or if you're in the UK, hunt out your local MZRC section. This is the sort of thing most MZedders have in their sheds getting in the way.
