I'am going to polish the forks on my etz. has anyone removed the casting lines(for want of a better word)that run down the front and back. or do you think they are there for strength.jap bikes don't have them. BMW's do but are a bigger bike.
inspect often and do not do the engine cases as the sand casting finish helps with cooling D

one wash a year is so you don't wash the grease out of any bearings and ruin them D
