Purchasing 6V Bulbs

Postby josephfox » Wed Jun 12, 2013 7:16 am

Hi Guys,

Has anyone any suggestions where I could buy drivers light, indicator and rear light bulbs? I have a MZ 125 TS the voltage is 6V and I cant seem to find any that fit in the shops or on ebay..

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Joe

I have found there are available from Mr. e bay, search `motorcycle acessories` for `6v bulbs`, or search on the general list for `6v scooter bulb`,
this turns up most types.
another option, if your handy with a solder iron, are the various U tube clips for DIY LED replacements, not forgetting an electronic indicator/turn signal relay so that you can use LED indicator bulbs or bulbs of a lowere wattage bulb ie ( 10 W. instead of 21W) to save the odd amp or two.
something else, Ive found work quite well are some of the 12v LED bulbs work quite well at 6V, and are cheap enough to try out, Mr e bay again.
hope that is of interest. cheers Eric.
