I am trying to achieve a reliable tickover on my ETZ251 which has only 1500 miles to its credit so should not have a worn out carb. The Haynes manual says 4 turns out on the air screw and one and a half turns on the pilot jet screw but I understand from comments on this forum that these figures are incorrect. It isn't very clear from the Haynes manual which is which but the big one is the air and the small one the jet I think. So, how do I set it up? I've tried all sorts but nothing works.
