250 Rear Sprocket?

Postby Blurredman » Mon Apr 29, 2013 3:33 pm

Hey there.

Bought a new rear sprocket/hub and I am in the process of taking the thing appart (it takes a while to figure out how things might come appart first time around).

As far as I am aware, I just need to get the two bearings out from inside the sprocket hub, how generally can I get them out? Is there an exploded diagramme anywhere? I wish the videos produced by MZ weren't limited to just the engine dismantling.

Plus, any one actually bought one of the sprocket hubs from Mz-b hungary? It looks like Aluminium because of the shine, though it's very heavy, Aluminium sure wouldn't last long as a sprocket/hub. The current one has over 20,000 miles on it, and even though it's very worn, I personally could eeck out a few more thousand before I thought it fit for the bin.
