Postby franek25 » Thu Oct 18, 2012 10:54 am

Hello hope everyone is well. Iam having a hard time finding tires for my 1974 ts 250 the tire says front 3.0-15 and rear 3.5-15. were can i get these tires ?? also what is the conversion to inches. The tiers seem original and may be since bike only has 100 miles on it. is there another size tire that fits on it as well. I have searched online called tier shops and no one can help may you guys can . thank you so much for all your help and time have great rest of week . :D :D

I think you'll find that they are 16" diameter not 15". I once had the same model with 3.50 avon safety milage rear tyres front and back. They are a square section, so handling was interesting to say the least, didn't have to put your feet down when you stopped mind!

That Bando tyre looks very very old! I'm always wary of tyres when described as NOS. You never know how old they are and how they have been stored. If you can't find decent new tyres in the US ost2rad will send to the US but they have a flat rate delivery charge of €50 :( . A pair of tyres to suit would be
http://www.ost2rad.com/JAWA-CZ/Tires-Wh ... F-876.html ( sold as a Jawa tyre but will be right for a TS)
http://www.ost2rad.com/MZ-Spare-Parts/T ... --150.html

With delivery these would work out as around $135.
