Looking at tiding up my TS paint work can any one recommend DIY paint (trade name/application method) for frame,forks, tank and side panels please.

i use krylon for plastic.. fusion is trademark name but only has basic colors and comes in rattle cans

and a couple years ago i painted a bmw 60/6 black bed liner paint
its a daily driver for a friend and it gets a lot of miles so we used a high mileage paint :-D

If you dont have a good compressor, inline air purifier, good spraygun, i recommend you to use Motip products. Acrilic paint in spray cans. Trust me you can get a good finish, you will still need the proper preparation as in any other professional paint job. And you can always in the end sand it with a 1200 grit wet paper ( excluding the metallic colours) and send it to a paint shop just for clear coat.
