I'm still mucking about with my 250 but I still can't get the thing to start.
I've replaced the following
Battery, coil,ht lead, plug cap and a jet in the carb that was missing?
I have power everywhere else,so what's going on?
Forgot to mention that it has an electronic ignition system from Burwins could this be the problem?
Look forward to receiving some wisdom.
Regards Dwc

This might sound daft but have you changed the plug? It may have a spark on the head but not spark inside the cylinder. Ive come across duff new plugs a few times.
It could be timing too if the igntion is not set properly. I don't know about the electronic ignition but I'm sure Burwins will help you if you ring them up, they're usuallly pretty helpful.
Cleaned out the breather on the petrol cap? Generally I would say lokk at the ignition system first though.
