TS125 Front Hub Problem

Hi again fellow MZ lovers,
I have just fitted new tires to my '86 TS125 Alpine.
Whilst fitting the front I cleaned up the brake shoes and drum , on refitting it seems that when I tighten the spindle nut the wheel seems to bind , that is it does not spin very easily. I backed of the brakes completely but this makes no difference.
There is a slight rubbing noise which sounds like the shoes but I'm not sure. Nothing obvious is rubbing externally .
I have taken the wheel off again and checked the bearings , both seem fine , they look good and feel very smooth when you rotate them , no feeling of grinding or any wear whatso .
I do tend to do the nut very tight , not sure how tight it should be as haven't seen any torque setting ,but like I said the wheel will spin freely if I back it off a little.
As far as I can make out nothing is missing from the wheel pin its just the nut +washer +spindle and that's it on mine no spacers or extra washers.
Anyone got any ideas or similar experience - am I missing something obvious ?

Sounds like a spacer is on the wrong way round or they are on the wrong side....

I agree about a spacer problem , this is exactly what I thought . Unfortunately though there are no spacers on it , or there where not any when I took it off ...
If someone could have a look at their TS125/150 I would appreciate a report on the front spindle and how its set up .
Looking directly at the front wheel standing in front of the bike it goes -- nut , washer , left fork-leg , drumbrake , hub , little silver cup over bearing , right forkleg and its pinch nut/bolt .
Like I said no spacers or extra bits .

Problem Sorted ...

The culprit was the small cup shaped cover that fits over the bearing on the right hand side ( viewed from front)
Some how it was out of shape , so much so that it was rubbing on the inner and outer of the bearing causing the binding.
Luckily I had a spare from and old bike and just holding the 2 together I could see that the original was almost flat and not doomed as it should be.
I'm sure I could hammer it back to shape but fitting the spare has cured the problem and all is well again with the front hub.
