webhead.

Your own Cylinder Barrel and Head can be rebored to take a standard ETZ301 piston, no change of carb or jetting needed. :D

Yep, that's all there is to it. The OEM 301 engine has been mooted as the best 2T motor they ever made. I have a 251 motor with a 301 topend. Bing carb from the 251 all fitted into an ETZ250 chassis. Works beautifully!! just gives it that little bit of oomph in the midrange.

The other truly useful option is the MZ-b ignition system (they are no longer MZ-b but close enough) brilliant, more revs plug and play and forget it!

Let us know how you get on...

PS note what Skorpion and I are talking about is the 291cc designated 301 not a 350cc conversion.

It's a little thing called the internet - google MZ-b and all will be revealed.
You will need a 301 head to go with the barrel or get the existing one modified.
Depends on the model. If yours is the 251 then it is 16 rear and 18 front. If it is the 250 then it is 18 front and rear. Get in touch with the MZ riders club and get yourself a copy of the appropriate manual. Again google - MZ riders club.

:) I any electronic ignition system will do the trick as they have program advance and retard built in which allows more revs and more bottom end power over a points set up.
