Single FCR41 on a Baggy?

Postby Dezmo » Wed Feb 02, 2011 9:41 pm

Hi all, been a looong time since Ive been here, but Im glad to see this place still alive and well!

I sold my 02 Baggy SM to a close friend, and he recently lucked into a relatively cheap FCR41 (off a husqy 510.) I know this carb will make a baggy rip, but the only company I know of that ever made a single carb intake for the XTZ/MZ660 head was Dale Walker, and they stopped a long time ago.
We thought about using the intake from a Grizzly/Rhino 660, but the bolt spacing is different, and Im not 100% sure the port shapes are asymmetrical like on the MZ.
Anybody know of anyone who makes a single carb intake that will bolt on, or somebody who has one and is willing to sell it?

BTW, he also got the marchozzi shiver forks off said Husqy, along with the triples. Im a couple of axle spacers and some 2mm larger OD bearings away from bolting it onto the MZ :-D
Hella Yella, coming ta getcha!

Good response to your question....yes the Rhino manifold will work, but you need to an adapter made.As you stated, the bolt pattern is different
to the Raptor head(ours) Then you need some fiddly bits, spigot etc...but it does work well. And the ports in the Rhino are the same shape as the
Raptor I believe
