I haven´t been here for a while but a lot stuff has changed....

2 in 2 exhaust.... full carbon fairings and after a little engine problem a small tuning....

Here some nice dynoruns

Power at crank: 69,3PS und 71,2Nm

Power at the rear: 65,2PS und 67,9Nm

Nearly 70hp! Not bad for no sick tuning ideas!

The next step is a fork stabilisator with a carbon "middleplate" in a X shape.

Here´re the clamps

So to do one thing at a time is boring that´s why these nice rims want to get into the baghi. They have the same dimensions but are lighter. The wheels aren´t fitted exactly at the pics....

Here some carbon pics..... now the mask is in carbon, too.

Another idea is a carbon subframe but this need more time, maybe I´ll make it next winter...

And here´s the stabilizer!

Everything is out of aluminium 7075 and it´s drawn by me. Unfortunately I haven´t a milling machine so I can´t do this step by my own

The X ist just a reference model for making the carbon fibre part and for the comparison of them. This will be in the dimensions 15mm x 15mm and not like the aluminium part in 15 x 20mm. The plus 5mm is only for a easier building of the form for the carbon part.

Also everything will be eloxadized in beautiful black.

ah, interesting that you use that word. I've only seen it before in KTM superduke parts manual, the footrest brackets and gear lever etc. ...It must surely be a form of anodise. hmm

Haha, I had the choice between these two words and jep, you´re right, it´s something like anodising ;)

The only thing that´s getting on my nerves is the weather. Right now we have -1°C....too cold for composite work....

I´ve been sitting around my Baghi, quite lucky but there was one thing deep in my mind that didn´t let me sleep comfortable - it´s still the weight!

So let´s start to strip everything down to the bones and build it up in the light way! Give me some more time, I´m still working on it 8) And no, I don´t want to use steel or aluminum for the rear frame...

Just hold everything in place for a global view.
