battery wires

can someone tell me....i stored my 05 baggy for the last 12+ monthes....took out the battery and forgot which is ground? i have 1 black and 1 brown group of wires
PLEASE help!

The one going to the solenoid is positive.

The brown group of wires are earth wires, so that one is the negative terminal.

I put my battery in backwards, instead of checking on here first, you're a wiser man than me! :lol:

watch that wiring guys the china scooters and toys some use black for hot and white for negative
white is common ground in house wiring in the USA
be sure because mistakes gets expensive

1/ Get a multimeter with a continuity tester.
2/ Connect 1 lead of the multimeter to the chassis.
3/ Connect the other lead to the battery wires in turn.
The ones that beep are the ground connections.
Simples.

Anyone ever seen an MZ / MuZ that didn't have brown ground wires? I haven't. But like David said, do a continuity check to frame ground to be sure.
