Postby mr-brightside » Tue Dec 28, 2010 3:07 pm

does anybody know what spark plug i should be running in the baghira.
i did have a NGK DPR8EA-9 but ive lately had a few starting problems so i found a
NGK D8EA (from my xr400) in the garage & the bike fired up straight away will this be ok to use? or should i check it after a few miles just to check its not running to hot ect.

d8ea was in my rotax powered saxon tour
and in some of the bmw f650's
found my 660 runs best on the regular tip dpr8 as does the saxon tour
dave
plug you had in may have been bad

I've been running the NGK iridium tipped plug with great success. In fact, doing nothing else netted a minimum of 10-15 Km more per fillup, and it wasn't like my bike was running poorly before I switched. YMMV..

thanks for your replies i have managed to get another DPR8EA-9 today and it seems to be running good again, was also told in the bike shop that the D8EA should be ok and would do no harm. :D
