Hi folks does anybody know how to convert an ES250/2 Trophy to 5 speed?

There was an article by a gearbox specialist/MZ owner in a very old MZ club mag. He says it is possible, as all the 5 speed shafts line up with the 4 speed crankcases. He said various parts need relieving and stops and spring 'retainers' need making up though: "easy for me, but a lot of work for anyone not in my profession".....
