pulling the clutch in at high speed flickers the high beam

Postby OSPRNG » Mon Aug 30, 2010 9:01 am

when i'm riding above 40mph and pull the clutch in quickly to change gears, the high beam flickers on and off.
if i ease it in it doesn't happen. i think i've ruled out snagged cables.
this only started happening recently.
is it because the motor is suddenly generating more electrical current?
is this something to be concerned with?

I was bumping the high beam flasher with the clutch lever.
Rotated the lever "downward" and problem went away...

ah yes the little funnys when you use standard parts built by different people

like today at work closed back door on school bus the wheel chair lift went nuts started running
problem was the door latch hits the control box if i hang it on the left side where its handy
have to hang it on the other side where you have to stand on tip toe and reach a long way to get it hung up
stinks does it not
