TS 125 ignition connections

Postby barney1029 » Tue Mar 30, 2010 1:15 pm

I am in the processes of of restoring a MZ ts 125 to former glory.
the problem, fitting the 4 wires to the contact/dynamo conections. I have 4 wires...1 green with red strip. 2 green. 1 brown. I assume the brown is earth/ground. Any one know where the other ones fit please ??

Thanks for that David, still a little unclear of the cable colour as the picture is a bit small for detail. did notice that one of the green wires has a blue stripe,my old eyes did not pick that up at first. As far as i can tell--brown earth, green to condenser top, green/blue to top brush contact, and the green/red to bottom brush contact.

Hi,
If you've got a multimeter you can use the continuity test/low ohms setting to trace the wiring.
