Supa 5 strange noise

Hi,

My 1980 Supa 5 has developed a bit of an odd noise. Aside from the usual rattle and buzz it's always had, I can hear a strange whooshing noise which is loudest when the engine's cold, in Neutral. Pulling the clutch lever certainly brings the noise down, but it doesn't go away completely even when the whole thing's warm and the lever's in.

It's probably about time I changed the gearbox oil, but is there something more sinister I should be looking for when I do?
