Baghira/Mastiff Front Forks

Postby keithcross » Mon Nov 01, 2004 5:24 pm

Last year I decided to change the front fork oil on my full height Baghira Street Moto. No problem you would think, well its was not as easy as other forks I have worked on. The fork top nut is attached to teh fork damper rods. I could not see how they cam apart and ended up putting the new oil in through the air bleed hole in the top of the forks  .
Anyway, its time to change the oil again and I could not find any info on how to change the oil properly :? .
As I have e-mailed MZ in Germany with suces before I thought I would try them again.
On Sunday the 31 oct 2004 I e-mailed them and asked if they could send me any info.
Imagine my suprise when the very next morning I recieved a return e-mail. Even more suprising was the fact that there was a full service manual attached as a pdf file. :D
If any one wants a copy of this, I could always forward a copy, but be aware teh file is nearly 2.5 Mb in size.

yes please!! phlat65@comcast.net.

get your self the proper tools for suspension, it will make it soo much easier. at least make or buy the right tool for fork oil height setting. ( a siringe and some clear hose marked at the right height will do)
