Yes, it's an inline 16A fuse on the rectifier BLK wire that goes to the starter relay. The unit in the picture fried when the BLK wire was shorted to ground internally in the starter relay. You could use another rectifier if it had the same specs and inputs/output as the existing NipponDenso. This rectifier/regulator is used in several other bikes too; you can find it by running the NipponDenso part number. The three YEL wires are the generator output wires; the BLK wire is the regulated DC output. Even in my Rotax manual this fuse is present on the 500cc engines. -Don
