Charge the battery or get a new one.
Start the bike and with a $10 voltmeter with the bike running you should read almost 13.5 volts across the pos.and neg.battery leads also rev it to 4000 rpm and make sure it holds this is good.It should go up slightly to 14 volts.
If it is good at that point you should be set.If you have problems after, it is with the "new stator" hopefully you have the old one to put back .Or the only other thing it could be is the voltage regulator.which it sounds like it was all along as a stator is a rare replacement...JMO just my onion good luck let us know.
