rt fork seals

hi all :smt006

i think my fork seals are gone on my rt. how hard or easy is it to change them and the fork oil???

Not too bad, no special tools required.

Just take your time, the manual helps.

done the seals tonight, changed the oil but theres a hissing noise when i put pressure on the bars????

you may be confusing the hissing sound with the oil swishing around but you could try some soapy bubbles around fork caps,top of seals and, i'm assuming the damper tube bolts at bottom of legs which normaly have a sealing washer.

hi

i think it may be just air in the oil as there is no leaks and the seals are fine. the new fluid has lifted the fork up about an inch :smt023
