I recently came across a box of used engine goodies for my Skorpion. In the box, amongst other things, there was also a very nice ported head wich unfortunatley suffrered a light seizure, the cam bearing surface is a little scratched and so is the races in the head.
The cam itself can be sorted pretty easy, and if not I have 2-3 stock 660 cams that can be reground if necessary. But how to fix the head? Does anyone have advice on, or experience in, how to do this the best way, installing bronze races perhaps or... any input is appreciated.
The reson for saving the head is that it is a pretty special piece of work, it has been welded and reworked to give 11,5:1 compression using a stock piston, ported and flowed by one of the most legendary tuning magician in Sweden "Grottis" who unfortunatley passed away a few years ago.
