baghira speedo cable

hello,

Does anyone know any cross compatability for the speedo cable on the early baggies (yr2000) ?

it is 108cm long with square end fittings.

the xtz600 is 11cm shorter so might be ok, but got to find one to check the end fittings. .

Yamaha pattern part speedo cable 458980 fits(97cm long) if run down the front of the forks (this route looks neater than std)
or there is a 105cm pattern part 458995.

and 2/3rds cheaper than the MZ part at £12 delivered.
