Try something funky instead, spray on bedliner.

It's smooth, but textured, kinda like most sheetrock walls.

I like the position of your exhaust end can. I am aiming to do something similar with mine once I find a suitably slim can.

Believe it or not, that is a surplus D&D exhaust a buddy tossed my way. was on an early 2000-something GSXR1000. He had a garage full of take off crap, told him I needed a 2 inch inlet, viola, he found that thing, it was a bit scratched up, some type of black plastic coating. I sanded it down and sprayed on high temp black paint, so far so good. Holds up well to muddy sandy stuff and washing too. I paid an auto shop $40 to bend and weld on a piece onto the stock 2-1 pipe I cut off the stocker.. Kick ass exhaust for $40.

compare these two clips, my exhaust and the M4 on a buddy's.
