YIKES!!!!!

Postby drj » Mon Feb 05, 2007 3:17 pm

so i went out riding yesterday afternoon - before the superbowl - it was about 80 degrees here @ the beach - sunny - not a cloud in the sky...

i whipped up to malibu - then up in to the canyons - back around thru topanga - just minding my own business...it was awesome.

so - as im pulling in @ my house to park - i turn the wheel and - MY FRIGGIN' IGNTION DROPPED OUT - THEN GOT LODGED BETWEEN THE FRAME AND THE BARS!!!!

OH MY GOD!!!!! - if that had happened on the road - sheeit...id probably be a goner!!!

BE ADVISED!!!

now you have ONE more thing to look out for...(i really hadnt expected that one!)

LIKE i said before look them over careful before and during a ride

superbowl is a special day over here in the USA
we have a big american style FOOTBALL GAME

so all the gamblers are either broke or have enough money to pay there
income taxes and can complain about the points spread and the ref's bad calls till next year :-D

Oh I get it, its like Rugby, but the players wear body armour in case they get a bit bruised. Whereas in the UK, Rugby players only wear body armour and big crash helmets in the under 14 yerar old games :)

My mrs calls American Football...hand ball of sorts..'course she's a "proper" FA cup fan...especially Chelsea..being from UK,she cant understand why it takes 180 min to play a 60 minute game....good grief...see her point, but IT IS a different game...completely, and yes
sort of Rugbyish...I did get a chuckle about Beckham though signing with
LA....(probably so Posh could shop in Beverly Hills more conveniently)

its too bad he only played PART of one prince song - and the rest was a medley of other peoples shit...@ least nothing dropped out "accidentally" - that WAS a relief.

so - after spending the better part of sunday morning on a quest to find a nice set of stainless 8mm bolts with an allen head (easier said than done!!) - shes right as rain again...(except for the 3 broken rear spokes )

now - i can go back to riding thru town instead of driving...and im always happier with the former. :-D
