[TS150] Clutch/Sprocket tools and technique
Posted: Sat Mar 01, 2014 9:05 am
Hi all,
After waiting for the damn awful weather to improve, I'm finally back to work on the TS150 (most of which has gone furry/rusty in the rain ).
I have completely destroyed the clutch-cover machine screws with the impact driver to get them out again - the hex head replacements I want to use _will_ be copper-slipped
Now trying to get the main drive off so I can get the clutch apart/clean the plates/replace the kickstart quadrant...
Have a piston stop, now need a sprocket puller - no problem, ebay and £10 later...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MZ-ETZ-125-15 ... 1e84df7d4f
But no-one - not even MZ-b or themzshop.com has the tool to compress the 6 clutch retaining springs:
http://www.miraculis.de/aw/mz/text/ts12 ... ml#11mw154
So tell me, how do any of you TS owners compress these springs, and/or get the clutch plates and basket off? And is there a nack to getting them off/putting them back? Remember this is an old TS - that ETZ service video on youtube isn't any help!
