PVL ignition with no rectifier or regulator?

Hello
I've started my next MZ project - another 301 - but the wiring loom has no voltage regulator or rectifier. I'm sure I've read somewhere some PVL ignition systems have the regulator and rectifier built in?
Here's a photo of the ignition as fitted to the bike.
Any ideas please?

Yes according to what I can see the block contains a regulator rectifier. Be very careful what you do because the PVL unit is very easy to kill!

yes as stated it is all built in to this unit. and is very easy to kill mine burst quite quickly when the bike was wired up incorrectly.
you can still get the Pickup unit on the web for about £55.
my tips are:
make sure your wiring is correct on the bike everything!
Ensure a good earth from the unit to the battery (there was a service bulletin released to put a better one on them when they were on sale)
Do not turn over the bike without earthing the HT lead.
and dont use a timing light between any of the systme contacts as this will fry the unit.

I know its a bit late, but.....
The regulator/rectifier unit is the green printed circuit board screwed to the alternator.
The PVL ignition unit is fed power through main wiring loom, (battery > ignition lock > kill switch > coil and PVL unit (purple wires)). Someone suggested wiring a capacitor "across the PVL", wasn't clear to me how, anyone able to advise?
