Anyone successfully uses 6v LED Headlight bulbs that they would recommend?

I've never actually messed with LED headlamp bulbs...
To a certain extent I have indeed thought about it, but ultimately it is something i've managed to avoid. I actually don't have ANY LED bulbs in my old vehicles. It is possible that one could benefit from using them in smaller wattage applications in order to allow less demand on the charging circuit (if using conventional headlamp bulb), but I just never got into it....

Thank you both for that. @puffs You made a good valid point with the hi-lo beams turn to mush which I never thought about. What I like is the fact that led are robust compared to filament bulbs and you’d probably get more light for weak currents.

when using them as flashers the flasher unit will have an odd flash rate
that requires a different unit that does not use the load of the bulbs that sets the flash rate
i use LEDS in my utility trailer so it does not over load the car system
my Nissan truck and VW bug both got upset and blew fuses
when using regular lamps in the trailer..
