I seem to recall when I had my last MZ, I had a big colorful wiring diagram, can you still get these in English ?

New web browsers have removed the feature to view ftp sites.. Which is very annoying! If you have internet explorer on your computer- use that, even ie 11 (supplied with win10) has ftp access thankfully.
