As part of my ETZ Makeover I want to pop the swinging arm out and give it a clean and lube, also clean / paint the rear of the frame that gets covered in muck / water.
To remove the swing arm is it just a case of remove the nuts from the pivot shaft and drift it out?
Any help / advice appreciated.
Ta.

Andy, on assembly put grease on the shaft to prevent corrosion, but the hinging is done elastically, on rubber. See 2 recent threads in
viewforum.php?f=20.

Thanks Puffs - appreciate that.
While I have it apart I also intend on fabricating an extension to the inner mudguard that will stop water / mud being thrown onto the lower rear part of the frame, should be abkle to fashion something that wil divert it behind the swinging arm in front of the tyre - looks to be enough room.
Cheers.
