glad i found this site on google! fellow mz riders!

got myself a new girlfriend who loves bikes been out afew times on the baggi, its a bit uncomfortable 2 up but getting that sorted with a repadded seat, got the rear rack and box. but i'm looking around for a larger fuel tank to go touring. can anyone help, are there any suppliers in the uk.
also any ideas on a taller screen.?

Very expensive, but hey, there are not many options.

When I e-mailed them, they said that it would take about one week for them to assemble and ship. They were very responsive the e-mails that I sent.

I would love a bigger tank on my Baggy - but not for 859 euros!!

Most road bikes seem to be 16 to 20 ltr tanks - does anyone know of an alternative that may fit (with a little messing about)?

I know that KTM have a similar tank, and they are cheaper to buy, or would something like a tenere XTZ tank fit?

It's a same these bikes are so rare - it means we have to do a lot of digging to find the answer, but then, that half the fun of owning a bike anyway!!

In the States, there is another option. http://www.tourtank.com offers a 2 gallon tank that looks like a bed roll and comes with mounts for putting on rear fender. Plumbing included. Looks like a good option, and am thinking of doing that myself, as that should raise my range to about 225 miles or so. Sells for US$149. They also have a 3.5 gallon tank, but I've not researched it.

I just finished mounting a 18 liters KTM tank and KTM seat. I bought the tank from DEmark on this forum. I'm satisfied with the result, Especialy the seat comfort.

The "OFF-THE-ROAD Tank Kitt MuZ Baghira/Mastiff 20 Liter" is the kit that we have (i guess) -189 Euro + seat?
My was bought at http://www.tundebike.de (but looks the same). In 2003 the price was 219.35 + tax for the tank+stuff to fit, and the KTM-seat modified to fit 132.23 +tax in Euro.

MZ do not make an increased capacity fuel tank for the Baghira as an official option. It would seem that the only way to get more miles from a tank is to use less throttle. Sorry.

we have a guy here with a tomos streetmate that i have clocked
at over 55mph all he needs is wings and he's gone
here in wv we have to put plates and ins just like on a rt125
so the guy's hop them up and fly on them

Damn! I posted a similar thread last month asking what alternative tanks were available for the Baggi/Mastiff and go no response

At least we've go something to go on now...
