Skorpion Tour Air Filter--Grahams, K&N, Others?

Hi All,
Searching for a replacement air filter for a Skorp Tour (2000), My search results here have led me to the KN Filter KA-5087. Any others to consider?

On a side note, I've read here that removing the fine screen in the petcock helps the carb see more gas, I have a secondary fuel filter, is it ok to loose the screen, will it make any difference? Ok to drill out the petcock? Bit size?

Thanks and ride on.........

rt125 and 660 both use same air filter
i removed the old filter paper from the plastic frame
and replaced it with uni sheet filter foam
so now mine are rebuilt and washable

Smart Dave I like it. Sounds a lot less expensive than the K&N route. It's about the same size as the Uni I just got for my XT, I'll have to do some chin scratching and see if I can make one of those work. Where did you get your Uni sheet from, a specific application?

Anyone happen to know if you can use K&N oil on a virgin Uni filter or is the oil different.

Thanks Dave, part number would be great. The XT Uni has two sides, like a pouch... yellow on one side and red on the other i think. Is yours a double side?

No oil eh? The MZ and the XT see lots of dirt so I'm thinking oil is mandatory. Comments?
