Hi everyone,

(Not really MZ related, but there you go!)

I spent a very enjoyable Sunday in Weston-Super-Mare (North Somerset coastal resort in the UK for those who don't know about it). It has a truly massive, flat sandy beach. Every year they host what must be the biggest off-road event ever - the Weston Beach Race. A large section of the beach is converted into a huge motor-cross circuit. It was a beautiful sunny day, and I will never forget the spectacle of the start - well over 1000 off road bike all roaring down the beach at once. The sound was incredible!! And a 3 hours endurance racing started! Absolutely awesome fun, and I if you can possibly make it along, do come along next year. I looked and looked, but not a single MZ anywhere - on the track or in the parking lot. Lots of KTMs mind you! Take a look on YouTube - there's some good footage on there.

Cheers,

Doug
