Clutch lever and choke "knob"

Postby BlueRidgePanther » Sat May 03, 2008 6:20 pm

I had a low speed tipover on my 2001 Baghira while blasting around some trails on bald street tires (asking for it, right?), and I managed to break my clutch lever about mid-way down the length of the lever. I was wondering if there were any non-MZ levers that would fit there. Also, my choke "knob" (it looks more like a twist gear-change from a mountain bike) was broken from its housing, so now, while it still works, it dangles rather humorously next to the grip. Any suggestions? How much do you think a new one would be?
Thanks in advance!

Actually, the good news is that it was the clutch lever you broke. That one's common to a lot of bikes. I used a 1998 KTM LC4 replacement lever from Sunline, and it fit like a glove. Only about $10 as well (although mine was a shorty, as I have handguards on my baggy).

Can't help you on the switchgear, but I believe someone on here has figured that out.
