Th KN Filter KA-5087 fit to the original MuZ Skorpion Tour (660cc 2002)airbox with minimal changes in the openning of the air box (a smallcuts to facilitate introduce the filter in theh air box). This filter is specific for a Kawasaki Ninja EX500R 1987-2006. Fits excellent in my Skorpion...
!Good Luck !

has any one fit a cone style air filers directly to carbs. If so what did you use. (I always liked the look, not expecting any performance improvement)

A negative performance effect will occur by removing air box , the engine needs the dead air volume to take its gulps of air. There could possibly be a vacume created at the carb mouth by the air rushing past at higher speeds
Changes:Air Filter, Holeshot Exhaust , Dynojet kit
