I have a SKorpion Tour 2002 660cc (6,900 miles), I'm seeing that the left radiator fan is the only fan thats turn on. I'm never see the left fan on.
When both fans turn on ?

Hi,
both fans should turn on at the same time. You most likely have a bad fan,
or the wiring to it is defective.

My left hand fan died at age 5 yrs.
On examination I found that the header had conducted "hot" through the fan sahft to the fan. Melted fan from the middle! The motor is a model aircraft type, not the most confidence inspiring item.
Seems like a system fault, but Phil at BSA Regal has the bits for replacement. I then modded the radiator to gain an extra 5mm seperation from the header by a slight tilt forward from the top.
All seems OK now.

When do your fans come on Sapperk and Chayanne ?
Is it while moving or at a stop light? Mine never came on
unless I idle for like 10-15minutes....I finally got rid of them and I don't sit at idle for more than 3-5 minutes. A good trade off...I think.

Chayanne is in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico i was there in 1966
due to the heat i was in while there i think keeping the fans in good order
is a must for him
where for me with maybe 5 or 6 days a year it gets over 90 deg F it is not a big deal
i have trouble walking long distance and used the rt125 as a wheel chair at the vintage days swap meet
at MIDohio racetrack to view all the old bikes and junk for sale
it was a hot day the year i did it and the fan never came on
it did come on one day that was very hot and i was trapped in a monster traffic jam for about 15 minutes it was 97f that day

Back when MZ US Headquarters in Florida was around a few years back, I asked them when were the fans suppose to come on. They told me that the cooling system was extremely efficient and not to expect them to work unless I was stuck in traffic on a really hot day. Today 9000 miles later I have yet to see them go on. I've ridden in hot weather but not in bumper to bumper traffic.
