check the input and outpot voltage of the relay. corrosion of connectors common on these bikes

also, a bad battery can show 12v with no load, then drop rapidly with load. what is the voltage at the battery while trying to crank?
relay

my rt 125 did same thing
1load test battery
2 jump big contacts on relay and see what happens
or try a different relay
here in the usa the relays on lawn mowers die and about 80% of the time
you can drill out the ribits clean the contacts and they work again
but the motorcycle ones are junk when you take them apart
3 contacts inside relay bad
4 yamaha number 4KD-81940-00 same as RT125 may fit other MZ Bikes
i paid $28usd in 2003 at a aftermarket atv shop

Sounds like a battery issue to me, last week i left work, started no probs, drove 4 miles to my mates house to drop off some tuning parts, chatted for 10 minutes, jumped on my bike and.......nothing! Battery died! Some clicking from realys, etc but not enough juice to crank her up. New battery next day, thump thump thump thump thump...brrrrrrrr.......sorted.

going dead now beats the hell out of going dead at 5:30am some cold morning in dec
while headed to work
as a school bus driver
i need to be on time
so my bike runs with a 3 battery system and a way to run just the cdi ingition
off a battery if all else goes to crap
there are 3 batterys on my rt125 1 15ah in ori location 1 17 ah in saddlebag
runs stater 1 4ah under seat runs cdi and coil when switch is flipped under seat
if it does not run when i get done with the switches its time to bring out the pickup truck
