As one of those sad people who records everthing, the average milage on my bggie has been 49.27 mpg (Imperial, not US gallons) over 64,000kms. The milage has ranged from 42-61 mpg.

so whats the difference between an imperial gallon - and a us gallon?

1 imperial gallon = 1.2 US (liquid) gallons, or 1.032 US (dry) gallons.
For those here that use metric units
1 UK gallon = 4.546 litres
1 US (liquid) Gallon = 3.785 litres

See not everything is bigger in the states :)

o.k.

I think my WOT habit is dramatically effecting my mileage (that or my engine isn't tuned well); I average 35-40mpg, mostly mountain twisties, city hooliganism and the occaisional roost-fest on the fire road. Oh yeah, and I've been practicing my wheelies. You guys REALLY get close to 50 mpg?? Damn...

not me...

well, lemm think - if im REAL ginger to her...and shift low...the best ive seen is 45ish...(and that means not going over 65 EVER!!)

which isnt easy - becuase the bike has so much power - i end up gassin' it all over the dang place...just cant help myself...

I wanna say I get about 65-70 km per gallon...that's let my get out my coverter program...40-43 mpg. maybe I got a couple more mpg before I rejetted and put on slip-on, but not much different. It can wake the dead now, so just too much fun to keep it "blat-ing" around town.
