No, I'm just going from what phlat came up with - the ad for those car carbs.
What I would like to do is put moly on mine before it happens. But what I will do is keep it lubricated with Wynflon or something like that.
It'll work. The biggest problem is getting the bush. But if you can get close, you could ream it out to fit the shaft. By far the best way to do it is on a small lathe. That way everything is straight. It would be possible to carefully sand down the OD of a bush to fit, because you can always use epoxy to seal it, but the ID has to fit the shaft perfectly.
The other way would be to fill the hole with Devcon aluminium epoxy and then drill it out to fit the shaft. Again, you need someone who can do it on a lathe. And the hole would have to be centred right, on the right axis - that's why the bush is a better way to go.
